I was so very fortunate to be Eileen's neighbour. I was just19, not much younger than Eileen, but she took me into her family's embrace and showed me what a mum was through everything she did with her darling daughters. I feel so privileged to have known her, she was quite simply the best. The world sure feels darker without Eileen but then I remember the day I moved in next door and how very welcoming she was (even with 2 small girls wrapped around her) and there is light in life again. Thank you Eileen, you gave me the strength, confidence and the love that made me who I am today and I will never forget that, love and miss you always.
